Nicolas Collins, Professor in the Department of Sound at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, will give a talk about his work at the University of Chicago Center in Paris on Monday the 11th of April at 7:00 pm. Nicolas Collins, composer and former student of John Cage and Alice Lucier, is considered as one of the most original artist in electronic music. His book Handmade Electronic Music - The Art of Hardware Hacking, has influenced emerging electronic music worldwide. This lecture is part of the Festival Sonic Protest.
