The Multilingualism and Decision Making Lab in the University of Chicago’s Department of Psychology
The Multilingualism and Decision Making Lab in the University of Chicago’s Department of Psychology is searching for a research assistant to help conduct a study examining how individuals make decisions in their native versus foreign language.
The research assistant will be expected to commit 10-15 hours a week from January to April 2016, and is expected to recruit and run 100 native French speakers who know English as a second language. The research assistant will be paid €15/hour.
Testing will take place at the University of Chicago Paris Center (6, rue Thomas Mann;
75013 Paris, France).
o Bilingual in French and English, however French should be the native language.
o Self motivated, hard working, and well organized.
o Prior research experience preferred, but not required.
Benefits of this position include an introduction into psychological research methods and a chance to gain valuable experience working as a research assistant.
o Short training.
o Running experiments in Paris from January to April 2016.
